About

Hi, my name is Charlie. I am a professional artist and alongside my studio practice I have always worked in education, I have taught in schools, universities, galleries, community groups and as a private tutor. After becoming a mother in 2016 and loving the creative projects my daughter and I were doing at home, I was inspired to start my own classes for children of all ages and to connect with other families who are interested in creativity through our instagram account @creative_little_wonders. Since then, I’ve been very fortunate to have had wonderful opportunities to share my passion for art through classes with families and children, as a freelance artist working in schools, galleries, early years settings and with community groups. I am inspired by Reggio Emilia and enjoy working with an Atelierista style approach, embracing the idea of the many languages of childhood.

With the launch of Creative Little Wonders Parties & Classes, I have brought together some of my favourite art activities and ideas to create wonderfully fun party packages for children of all ages, which can be hosted at your home or a venue of your choice. A further exciting option in the Spring and Summer months is to hold your special event in our gorgeous party bell tent! I also regularly run programmes of art classes, to develop artistic skills, knowledge and ability.

If you are looking for a special way to celebrate your little artist’s birthday or are interested in classes, please feel free to get in touch, I look forward to hearing from you!
